I think this was Donaghmores first year competing at senior level and it looks as if there is a world of work to be done with them if they are to make it at this level.

Dunsany won easily but, the potential that Donaghmore present is immence. At times their full forward line looked like they were lacking the abilty to compete at this level, but lets not forget that the Dunsany reargaurd is a force to be reckoned with. The visiting teams main strength lay in their midfield pairing. Alison Kelly was full of running and her counter part was an ever present threat infront of the posts

For Dunsany the game just went to assert the fact that, there are teams worse than us and teams better than us. And this season is all over bar the shouting. The pre match pep talk was already focused on next years challenge for the league.What will next year bring, who knows. Our club is at a stage where there is a constant flux of personal.So plans are never set in stone, but trends in footballing success in Meath is cyclical and if Dunsany can keep producing young talent, well who knows what next year or the year after will bring
